Expired Chicken Brioth?

Open Letter to Isabelle Stengers

Madam,

1. We met 2 or 3 times in Portugal and last time in England, Warwick, December 2003, you may remember. I do not know if you noticed, but L'Harmattan we published last November, a piece of me, THE GAME OF SCIENCE WITH Heidegger and Derrida, in 2 volumes: Scene, withdrawals and regulation of random Phenomenology reformulated, in truth , respectively. This is 1060 pages.
2. I write because I must tell you that this text calls specifically The New Alliance, and your Prigogine (Final Chapter 14): the pattern of entropy production is decisive (in the middle of Chapter 2 on phenomenology, between Heidegger and Derrida), but I had to re-elaborate, taking particular account of the 'double bind' (or bind) Derrida took to G. Bateson for ethical and political arguments but for my part, I took the perspective of his Grammatology. I call on the field and opened with Philosophy Sciences, this 'with' say-exactly the new covenant: the science of the major areas are read in their traditional philosophical dimension, as Kant has suspended a mutual fertility seems now exhausted.
3. In late October 1988 I had the pleasure of listening to a great conference Prigogine and have an appointment with him. I told him that I thought your concept of 'structure dissipative 'was clear in terms of' dissipative 'unstable stability in supramolecular chemistry of cellular metabolism, but that, cons, its repetition in other neighboring cells, so its side' structural ', seemed to me similarly highlighted. His response - roughly, 'is an issue to work' - I thought he did not mean asking the question, perhaps because she thought that implicit-biological, as what NA TE that seem intentionally refrain.
4. Before returning, I propose again (I did at Warwick, but whether you are satisfied) the double bond of a car used for partial comparison. What the engineer studies in the laboratory, parts and their arrangement, raising the standard 'molecular', while the whole car ('supramolecular') looks at the Traffic Act (a law anthropological) where the car must move. What makes the arrangement of parts may be raised to the 'unstable stability' which is his approach on the road? Another law, thermodynamics, which plays in the cy-linder engine but must 'pull' (for walls) of the set of all other documents to which it will provide the movement. The two laws, one social, the other physical, are inseparable in the structuring of the car, but they are inconsistent as well (it can not cause explosions of gasoline on highways, so it must be 'withdrawal' of the engine) is a double bond, which is repeated - formal and entropy - mutatis mutandis, in the various levels of scenes (gravitation, food, housing, registration) and in several scenes.
5. In the cell, so there will be some something 'similar': the DNA in the nucleus is removed (otherwise it would be chemically degraded, as the segment ARNmessager 'sent' metabolism), it is preserved for each protein synthesis to be done, despite remaining the same alterations in metabolism (protein needs, rate of those who arrive by wind blood). Taking into account the oxygen and the APT, and well as the regulation of gene expression, it seems easy to argue that this is the set of the cell, in supramolecular structure that produces the entropy from materials and energy that happen, and all other cells. Each cell is thus linked and the same DNA and the same blood, doubly linked, and it is likely that the law that governs blood circulation, respiration and digestion, is inconsistent with that regulates the interplay of DNA relation to metabolism, forcing it to stay 'retired' in the kernel (it can be assumed, for example, that cancers are the deregulation of the double bond).
6. Blood circulation, respiration and digestion, on the other hand, constitute a new unstable stability relative to body tissues they feed : The hor-ties have a role that mainly concerns the relationship of all cells with alterations in the ecological environment, some among them are pushing the neural system, between the perceptual organs and those of locomotion and predation, to become a ' auto-mobile 'in the green scene. Etcetera.
7. Or language. The cries of our ancestors were inhibited by the phonological system to serve whatever their basic level of power to end up as phonemes, words in a syntactically unstable (it stutters in some situations where there is a lack of words), replying a law of truth without which communication would be possible: it oscillates between the repetitions of everyday language and poetic events or other in-ventions language. This law applies to everyone who learns: you can go crazy to oppose it head-on. You will find in www.philsophieavecsciences.blogspot.com a manifesto than a hundred pages, including § § 81-85 provides a quick comparison of four (sub) scenes scientists.
8. The entropy production is the formation of a new stage of movement or exchange, with new rules, § 80 sets out the sameness formal and entropy that can be found at each level evolutionary (biology and history), how the whole scene (dissipative structure) assumes
a) a chaotic plethora elements (previous scene)
b) undergoes the inhibitory effects of forces about some of these elements remain in strict withdrawal, provided that the entropy production as a result of trade with the outside
c) is then assumed that other units of the structure (called assembly ') are arranged to be able to respond the law of the scene
d) by a system controller withdrawal oscillations between rehearsals and small events with other assemblies of the stage,
e) reproduce the events of the assembly (in the case of the living , not the car), with withdrawal of the donation or all of which is doubly linked the new assembly movement in the scene or elements that nourish and alter: this withdrawal - track of donors - which makes possible the autonomy of each assembly in the scene. Thus the scene (which is reproduced) which holds its assemblies .
9. So I had to add to your invention, in addition to donor withdrawal because Heidegger, the "play" (unity between chance and necessity), borrowed from Derrida, who anticipated the double bind: the rules (Level ' Molecular ') that scientists discovered in the laboratory experiments structurally fragmented, have meaning only in a scene random (supramolecular level) where' flow 'assemblies as autonomous mechanisms to heteronomy erased (at physics and chemistry, this autonomy is the book that every serious inertia forces of gravitation and electro chemical exchanges).
10. It is this stage that scientists should make the 'theory', as engineers take into account car traffic law that governs the scene of traffic. It is this stage which produces the inhibition of the preceding scene (in evolutionary terms), which shifts the energy it produced too much to make, according to new rules, the new scene unstable, like 'entropy' . Alas! scientists are prevented in their labor markets, the theoretical philosopheme classical determinism and the mental, between subject and object. I think it goes without saying that philosophers have a duty to 'deconstruct' actively philosopheme this so bad, that despite their vulnerability to succeed, get a little bit in scientific paradigms, although some current risks.
11. This is because in my text instead of your 'entropy production is central and referred frequently, but not developed as I suggest here, and that therefore my argument would have been impossible without your work, you two, I want to emphasize, to tell you my debt . In the history of Western thought, many heirs infidels for the sake of fidelity to the legacy, envisioning, wrongly or rightly, to multiply his fertility. The first editions of my text for my students, Prigogine included in the title with Heidegger and Derrida, but he is still alive, I was afraid he was not happy with the company, it could harm him in its approach to the physicists and other scientists and philosophers, and I withdrew.

Believe me, I beg you, my admiration for your work to the benefit of the new alliance so desperately need in these times where interdisciplinary research has really accelerated
