I took the cheesy but warm habit of giving Christmas to Christmas tunes. This year is no exception!
Here's a song from the wonderful Christmas disc group of the label DSP Denis Pantis. Found on that moult classic songs of Christmas. Among the flock, a group has dared to make a mini-exception (Benoit Brunet, get out of this body!).
Amid syrupy accommodations, excellent We'll walk in the snow of Bel Canto leave the beaten track. It prides itself on a trail in the woods and you come across in a psychedelic sounds dubbed harmonies ethereal to the Beach Boys. A sparkling Christmas miracle. Surprisingly, it is not a cover of one of the famous Christmas songs by the Beach Boys. At all. The Bel Canto chose instead to attack In My Room, a success of the band from 1966 to Brian Wilson. They have simply pasted the words winter. Superb!
The Bel Canto - We'll walk in the snow
If In My Room was a hit in 1966, we can assume that Christmas group had been launched to celebrate the holidays of 1966 and the approach of 1967. The groups did not know, but it would probably be one of their last Christmas group ... 1967 would bring The summer of love and the explosion of psychedelia and hippie culture, synonymous in turn from the end of the reign of the groups.
Interestingly, each song on the album Christmas group includes a few words Merry Christmas addressed to young fans, recorded voiceover over music songs. The Beach Boys had done just that on their adaptation of Auld Lang Syne , last track on their Christmas album.
 The original ...
The Beach Boys - In My Room
And even better, I learned that on youtube In My Room hides a subliminal message ... when played backwards, may have hear Help me ...
 In My Room, upside
Is We'll walk in the snow also includes a subliminal message?
Garage Sales wishes you a psychedelic Christmas!
