What Does A Rubber Band On The Wrist Mean

Being a hero

The e Wednesday, February 2, from 18h to 20h, Editions La Courte scale launch the collective work Be a hero.

Although rooted in the Quebec scene, the nine male authors such as Deni Y. Bechard, Simon Boulerice, Guillaume Corbeil, Eric Dupont, Stéphane Lafleur, Nicolas Langelier, Bertrand Laverdure, Eric McComber and Tristan Malavoy-Racine drafted, each in their own way, a new sub themes of the hero and adolescence. The book follows the female collective First loves , published in 2008.

Being a hero is:
  • confront the hero of the story that s' written
  • daring pass for a coward;
  • work, work, work - a hero, he's got to work;
  • go after itself, whatever the time or place;
  • take his life hand;
  • be firmly convinced that a hero lies dormant, waiting for circumstances that arise;
  • unwrap his Christmas presents with oven mitts, afford to be moved even when listening to Mariah Carey;
  • know how to pass through the harsh shock and learn to live with anger when we see Magali Simard embrace another, and it
  • resist, resist smuggling, but still resist when you see his father being arrested.
Being a hero is all that. The hero of paper hero of the story, the hero of every day heroes one night, nine authors of the decline is the issue with sincerity and seriousness, but also with humor.
